All i can give you is ancedotal evidence. D-amphetamine is much more potent dopamine wise than methylphenidate, the fact that (ritalin) is a racemic mixture would also lead me to this conclusion. Though relatively recently theres been a product released called focalin thats pure D-methylphenidate so that may cause quite a difference in dopamine release in higher doses. (the Levo isomer in ritalin/adderall is pretty damn useless and serves mostly as a cardiovascular stimulant).
