The Lyrica will replace the neurontin. Think of the Lyrica as a new improved neurontin, that is basically what it is. It is 3-10 times more powerful than neurontin. Lyrica mimics GABA. My prediction is eventually neurontin will become obselete, as Lyrica is so way more effective then neurontin, in all forms of treatment potential. I'm talking from experience as well, as i have been on both of these medications. For me, Lyrica works very well, neurontin did nothing for me.
