For what it's worth, I have been on Celexa (30mg/day) for several years (I think it may be pooping out on me, but that's another story) and knock on wood have never experienced the brain zaps.

However, I know exactly what you're referring to because when I was going OFF Paxil, and a number of years later going OFF EffexorXR, I had what you aptly referred to as brain zaps. And I have read and heard that brain zaps often occur when a person is reducing and going off an SSRI anti-depressant.

Unfortunately, I have no idea why you're getting brain zaps while ON Celexa, even trying to increase the dose. Guess you need to talk to your pdoc.
