My doctor told me that Zoloft + effexor would give me too much seratonin. He prescribed a low dosage of Effexor and told me to stop the Zoloft and then he would weekly increase the dosage as the Zoloft got out of my system. I haven't started the Effexor yet, because I've seen some pretty disturbing postings on it. Zoloft isn't working though, so I don't know what I will do.
