Can meds have a more positive response at lower d?

Posted by chiron on August 21, 2006, at 22:35:24

I'm currently on Cymbalta, which originally on 30 mgs I found helpful for my anxiety & depression. I was still feeling blah, so we raised it eventually to 120 mgs. It seemed that about the same time I became more irritable and depressed. When I told my pdoc this he thought it was odd, because usually levels are raised to get a more positive response rather than lowered.
Other experiences?
