As for sunburn, I noticed that some antibiotics, for example, warn about making one more suseptable to the effects of the sun, to stay out of the sun, etc. I wonder if one of the medications your son is using might be that way, too?

Have you discovered medline? It's a govt site with a lot of drug info: http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/druginformation.html

The other thing I heard from my doctor is that when more than one drug is used at a time, there is an increased potential for all kinds of new effects from the interaction.

Good luck-I hope you find a positive outcome.

> I am not sure about your son but I do get nightsweats from taking SSRI's, have hot flushes, especially in the mornings - usually about 1-2 hours after I have woken up and I know they can make you sweat more. I don't sweat but get a very hot feelig in my face and head.

His response included that a number of medications can interfere the body's ability to cope with heat and temperature shifts.

When he could work, they were pleased with his performance, but he passed out on more than one occasion and almost daily vomited and was nauseous the other days. He is ADHD and on Prozac and Focalin. This is his first full time work and first out door work as well. He does have allergies so I don't know if that could be a contributing factor also. Obviously we've decided that whatever the reason, he needs to look for indoor jobs, but I just wondered if the psychiatric meds could contribute to that or cause that problem as he is in otherwise good physical condition...
