What is MDD? I am not familiar with Luvox. I would think the valium would make you have problems with depression. Lamictal is for someone that needs all of the antidepressants they can get and they do not want to gain weight, which is me. I have started taking Buspar. All of the anger, anxiety, and irritability is gone. I feel so care free. I was afraid to take it because I thought that is might make me depressed like the Benzo's do, but it is kinda different than all of the rest of them. They are not sure how it works. Of course I am not a doctor, and I do not know what Luvox is, nor have I ever taken any of it, so I can only tell you from my experience from taking the Lamictal. I wouldnt think the Lamictal would help with the anxiety. It kept me up for about 3 days the very first time I took it, but that totally went away. It's like a stimulant in a way, thats why it helps with the depression. Anything that has the potential of keeping you from sleeping at night is, of course, just the opposite of calming you down, which is what you would need for the anxiety. I hope this helped some.
Thanks,
Frizzal
