Thanks for the support. I had the Darvocet-N 100 for not quite a week now and have found that only one or two a day are quite adequete.
However, now I have a bit of a new concern -- this is going to sound really stupid, but I am feeling better than I have in YEARS (and I've been around a LOT of years!)
Here is the issue -- some on the board may remember part of this story.
I was diagnosed ADD fifteen years ago and started on Ritalin which worked miracles. Big problem was that I began to abuse it after about a year (up the dose etc.) I was taken off the Ritalin and started on WellbutrinSR. I was also on Prozac at the time and after three weeks on the combination I became quite delusional and ended up in the "rubber room" for five days.
It was decided that I was unable to metabolize the two drugs together -- a liver enzyme thing.
I had really grieved the Ritalin loss as it had made me so clear headed and functional it was almost scary. When I was started on the Welllbutrin and just before the psychotic onset from both meds, for a day or so I felt that same way -- clearheaded organized etc.
Sorry to take so long but this is a real concern-- yesterday I began to feel that way AGAIN.... all I can think of is fear of another episode of going over the edge!
It is not mania -- in fact, if anything I am quiter and sleeping better. I am on WellbutrinSR 200 twice a day and Strattera 40 mgm three times a day -- The Wellbutrin over ten years Strattera about four.
The other possibility is that, beginning about ten months ago without telling anyone, cut the Strattera to twice a day for about six months and did not get back on the three 40mgm doses until about six weeks ago. Could this be it? Or is could the Darvocet-n involved? The Strattera took a LONG time to kick in when I first began taking it, maybe six months.
Any input GREATLY appreciated!! GH
