Some people react negitively to norepinephrine drugs. They can be effective antidepressants, but often do require some time to adjust.

You may find that supplemental vitamin C could be helpful. You might try about 1 gram, in the evening. It can help tame down anxiety caused by norepinephrine drugs, and it might help prevent adrenal exhaustion. Vitamin C is important in the synthesis of norepinephine too.

I've heard that supplemental vitamin C was helpfull in those taking desipramine and nortryptaline.
