Hi C,
First off listen to your pdoc, not me. :) These are just my thoughts and opinions. Is your Doc pretty familiar with maoi's? Is he/she generally pretty conservative? Don't get me wrong it's good to be safe, but if you don't get a reaction at 30, that's a long time to wait(1 month). Some people do get a good reaction at 30, and are able to stay there for a long time. For me, I needed sixty to get a reaction with Parnate. My pdoc gives me a lot of freedom because he knows me well (25yrs.) so I was on 60 by day 8 or 9 and it kicked in for me on day 10. Been working great ever since but i have had to increase dose to 150,(plan to stay at this dose). I have always needed high doses of everything to treat my TR Depression. For me, I took my full dose of parnate all in the morning until i got to 100, now i spread it out. Usually 80-90 am, 50 at noon, and 20 between 2:00 and 3:00. This works great for me. Hey good Luck, and feel free to contact me with questions anytime. May Parnate Power be with you! :)
