anafranil

I tried Anafranil for OCD for a few weeks, and the side effects were intolerable. Dry mouth, felt out of it, and had a few instances where someone was talking to me and all of a sudden, I couldn't hear/ understand what they were saying.

I tried Luvox for only one day, and felt weird. Does it work, because I've tried just about everything else, and on Remeron and Wellbutrin, I had the worst OCD I've ever had, where, when I'd take a walk, I had to read off the license plate of every car I saw. Since I live in L.A., you can imagine how time consuming this would be.

Thankfully, I have the willpower to resist some of the more ridiculous compulsions like that to the point where they'll calm down a bit, but I still have a bunch of stupid rituals that are using up time better spent in other pursuits.

I would be interested in what others here have experienced with OCD meds. Thanks.
