Hi from across the Pond. I don't know you, but please hang in there, and remember depression is an illness, and is treatable. There's always hope, and someday, you'll look back on this time and see that you've survived it.
Two and a half years ago, I was just sitting in my house, crying and crying and unable to do anything, and not wanting to meet anyone new. I even had to close my successful business, because I couldn't attend to it.
I went through a series of medications and talk therapy, and while I never found the perfect med or the perfect doctor, I am sufficiently improved to be able to look back at that time the same way I recall feeling really bad with a flu I've gotten over, and say, "Boy, I felt like crap, but I'm better now."
