Tom,

Will you call me tomorrow? You have my phone number.

You won't be sectioned unless you are seen to be very suicidal. People are often sectioned after a suicide attempt, for example. I was once in a psych hospital but I wasn't sectioned. About half of the people on my ward had been sectioned. Most people who have been sectioned are not locked up, but they are not allowed to leave. Violent patients are likely to be locked up.

You might find this site helpful.......

Take good care of yourself Tom
