It's not like that here. Each pharmacy has their own records apart from certain large chains which share records. Where I work, we can only see what meds patients have got from us, not from anywhere else. Things are changing though. Electronic transmission of prescriptions (ETP) from the doctor to the pharmacy is being phased in. There will be a national database for all NHS prescriptions. Doctors will send the prescription to the database and we will retreive it. We don't do this yet where I work but we will be doing soon.

They just don't understand - so they judge. They have been taught that benzos are 'bad'. They don't know what severe anxiety is like. Pharmacists can be a pain in the *rse!
