Hey Ed & Denise
I have to say I'm pleased that Ed sayed what I already strongly suspected, Namely that CT scans are no good for getting detailed brain information.
I work in the X-ray department of Addennbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge-UK
I'm only a porter but from my experience I have at least gained some knowlage of scanning precedure.I don't mean to worry you Denise, but another thing to consider about CT scans is the amount of Radiotion your going to absorb.
A Radiographer told me that you will absorb far more radition than you would from a normal X-ray.I have to say Denise, it sounds like your being fobbed off with inferior treatment, because giving you an MRI is to expensive!
I Hate this country sometimes!
P.S. Ed did you get my TXT message?
