Shouldn't you just ask your doctor about weening off of it?
You shouldn't stop drugs like that cold turkey, bad things tend to happen. Memory loss can happen with drugs like that, especially if you are messing with the dosage suddenly. Not a biggie or anything, happens a lot with benzodiazepines.
Well, then again... if you forgot you started cooking something 10 hours ago...
