Thank you for the explanation. All doctors working for the National Health Service use a standard prescription form here. GPs use a green form..... special paper etc, difficult to forge. Prescriptions for controlled drugs use the same form. There is only one copy, which goes to the pharmacy. All NHS prescriptions then go to a government agency, who keep records and pay the pharmacy for the drugs dispensed.
