Provigil for ADD?

In my last pdoc appointment, we struggled over my situation in finding a balance where I need to conquer both my anxiety, yet at the same time find something to help with my severe(!) ADD. I'm starting school again and definitly need something, but stimulants really crank up the anxiety. He said this is a narcoleptic drug but may actually at some point be officially approved for use as an ADD drug. Has anybody tried Provigil for this? Experiences? Or has anybody at least heard anything more than what I have.
