I can empathise with depersonalisation. Maybe I was always going to be vulnerable to that because I lived in my head so much, and maybe the drugs (all of them, I guess) made it much worse. OTOH I overempathise, try to please, which sounds different.
Oldfashioned diagnoses are really good. Neurasthenia? Maybe we've all got that.
