Ok 1st Ritalin Experience

Alrighty folks my doc slipped my an XR for Ritalin today, its funny he did this only with a 15 minute appointment. What should I expect? What interactions are possible? I was wondering about the caffiene? I occasionally consume caffiene, is that dangerous?? please this is my first time ever on a stimulant? please share your experiences thank you.
