Selegiline-Anyone having luck with it?

Posted by RobertDavid on December 2, 2005, at 0:38:55

I've read some past posts from those that have taken selegiline and was wondering if anyone is currently taking it for depression/energy/mental sharpness.

My primary problem is with anxiety and the Klonopin is helping with about 75% of the problem, but I need help with my energy and depression (slight depression). I'd like to feel a little "sharper", more alert.

I've read that some benefit with as little as 5 to 10mg doses of selegine and like the thought of fewer side affects at lower doses, especially with the food restrictions.

Since depression isn't my primary issue I thought perhaps Klonopin & a small dose of selegine might be worth a try.

I'm seeing my doc next Thursday to discuss what to add to the Klonopin. I've been considering adding one of the following to Klonopin: Remeron, Selegiline, Nardil or??? None of the SSRI's, Effexor, Lyrica or Welbutrin and various other drugs have have helped.

Any suggestions? Thanks.....
