hi med_empowered,well you sound pretty intellegent to me,good to hear you didnt buy their diagnosis.These docs seem to love to analize people based on what little they actually know about them,based on little knowlege of HOW THEY USED 2 B,with only what they see in their office (or hospital).symptoms match symptoms and if the meds make the person freak out and get worse then "thats just the medication or environment bringing out the hidden illness"WHAT BULL! The trouble with my partner is hes so easily led and believes anything anyone tells him.He also has reading probs and never reads anything so he cant decide for himself.I wish he could (like you sound like you really believe in yourself,thats so good).Hes getting there.I found out after half my life was over that I pretty obviously had as a teenager classic bipolar,but after antidepressants I rapid cycled and( more antidepressants later)im mixed bipolar(up and down at the same time)I think bipolar changes like mutates in some people.Like the drugs permanantly change things or for some people the changes are really severe.Its a pity people seem to be used like guinea pigs.Then what can people do? The phyciatrists have all the power (i mean who would believe someone with a severe mentall state?) and dont they know it.When all people want is to get better!!!! Thanks for your message.
