LSD overloads the 5HT2a receptors, right?

may be antithetical to how 5ht-2a antagonists tend to be antidepressant, pro-catecholamine/prefrontal/decent-sleep-architechture and everything.

estrogen seems to make the 5ht2 receptors either more plentiful or more sensitive. may exacerbate some mood disturbances for women or people with displaced hormone levels, especially in those involving cortisol response.
