LSD + depression + time preception

I was just thinking that if you take LSD, your preception of time can be markedly altered.

Whenever I feel depressed, it seems like time just lingers on forever. Each minuate seems to last for an eternity.

What part of the brain regulates time, and do some days go by so quickly yet others last forever.
