What dose are you taking? How many times a day? I know the idea of Xanax XR was suppose to be "once a day" but having a 12 hour half life, my doc prescribed me 1mg twice daily. I took it every 12 hours.
After a few days of taking it, I felt great. If your looking for the instant feeling you get from regular Xanax, wait a few days and it should kick in.
