Lost insurance, need meds

Well,
I've lost my insurance. I've tried to see if there were any free med programs for Ambien, but it appears there aren't any. I have a valid prescription, but need to find the best/cheapest place to buy. Any suggestions? I need a USA drug store. Not interested in over seas or import. I take 10 mg. Why hasn't this drug gone generic? It has been out forever.
Dr. Bob, I hope it isn't wrong to ask this. Please forgive me if it is.
