It was a gradual process. They eased in number and intensity.
Anxiety and Panic attacks were my primary problems for a few years. Over time they increased in frequency and intensity and eventually this led to agoraphobia. It's a horrible life impacting disorder but I found mine did not improve without treatment.
The decision of what to do and how to do it is up to you. I would never try to tell someone else what is right for them, but I can only relate my experiences.
I'm sorry panic is a problem for you. It's not fun.
