It's tricky to find but it is definitely available by prescription, it's names are Pitosin, Toesen, and Syntocinon (Synthetic oxycontin). I want to give it a try.

I know this is a tricky word, notice what you actually spelled!! I was about to say try injecting heroin first, it has less addiction potential.

YES! Oxytocin sounds really promising. I never thought of it for depression, but severe social disorders (autism, strong social phobia, and definitly avoidant personality) are at least hypothesized to repsond extremely well and its only a matter of time for these studies to be done. Its stupid that it has taken so long for people to think that this hormone could help in retrospect, then again I didnt think about it, I suppose. The above disorders have major overlap with depression and eerriicc what you said lends to the idea that it would help people who are depressed, but/and like I said, I think we'll be hearing ALOT more about this stuff with time, probably in many areas of psychiatry. I'll tell you though, If I could get it now I would be an eager guinea pig.
