Hi Marsha,
>What's it called?
Pilocarpine. It's a cholinergic agonist. Theoretically, it should reduce the dry mouth caused by anticholinergic drugs such as TCAs.
>why don't pdocs generally suggest it?
It's not approved for the relief of dry mouth caused by TCAs.
