I have tried both Dexedrine and Adderall. The Dexedrine left me feeling alert and more social while the Adderall made me feel alert but it also intensified my anxiety (I often struggle with mild anxiety anyway). Both helped alleviate my ADD symptoms.

However my son tried both meds too and much preferred the Adderall. He said the Dexedrine did not help him with the ADD symptoms as much. So maybe it is an individual thing.

Good luck with your search. I think it is great to learn all you can about med options!
