I might have you confused with someone else, but are you also taking 20mg prozac? Prozac can cause the feelings you are having, but it takes awhile for it to build up to levels where you notice a problem. It could be the prozac, if you are taking it, and a smaller dose like 10mg could ease things. If you wanted to drop the prozac levels quickly just to see, you could skip it for a day or two days. It has a half life of about a week.

I take 5mg zyprexa at about 5:00pm. I once tried taking an extra 2.5mg in the morning to help with anxiety. For a few hours it did help, but then later on in mid afternoon I got extremely wired and panicy. Oddly, the 5mg dose after that blocked it and calmed everything down, though it does take about 2 hours to work.

I was also at 20mg prozac at the time and lowered it to 10mg after that. I had cut back on smoking, and I do believe that somehow prozac levels had increased due to metabolic changes from less smoking. I don't have the anxiety panic wired stuff any more, so I don't really know for sure if it was the extra zyprexa dose that did it, the higher prozac dose that did it, or some combination of the two.

With both of these meds, I truly believe...contrary to what most docs would say...that there is a therapeutic window. Too much is bad and too little is bad. Finding just the right amount makes all the difference. We're all different though.
