hey! Like the other poster said, you probably have reduced activity levels. However, both zyprexa and seroquel can cause a good bit of weight gain and can also cause metabolic weirdness that sometimes leads to type II diabetes. If you're having a problem with weight already (whether you already have a weight problem and seroquel is keeping you from losing it OR if the seroquel seems to be causing weight gain), you may want to consider a switch. Geodon is taken 2X daily, like seroquel, but doesn't cause as many weight problems. Abilify is the other option...its non-drowsy, sometimes somewhat stimulating, for many people and seems to be "weight-neutral". Since its non-drowsy, its easier to exercise and what not while on Abilify.
