Hi Sarah!
> I'm so glad that things are going well for you on Reboxetine!
I'm happy with it - its early days yet, but I can't say I've noticed anything negitive about it. (Apart from the side effects, but these have nearly worn off. I still sweat abit too much for my liking though!)
I agree that most people must start on too high a dose - when I first started on just 1/4 a tab twice daily, which is 2mg in total. Now, I'm on half a tab daily, which is 4mg in total. I'm supposed to be taking two tabs a day which is 8mg! Thats quite high, as the max dose is 12mg. I think I'm going to stick it out on the 1/2 tab twice daily dose.
>I think it's a much better antidepressant than Strattera, although both are norepinephrine reputake inhibitors and have some similar side effects. It's a shame that Reboxetine hasn't been approved for use in the U.S.
Have you tried strattera? Isn't that just used for ADD? I read somewhere that rebox isn't approved in the US because of pharmacautical politics and $.
> How late in the day do you take your second Reboxetine dose?I usually try to take it around 8-9pm. I take the first half when I'm getting ready in the morning. I don't have any insomnia at all. But then, thats never been a problem with me!
take care
