Most likely, welcome to the club, I think paxil corrupted my head.
>> i have rang my shrink she reckons its just anxiety getting better of me and to fight it!!
>I'm going to give you my opinion based on my experience, mind you this is subjectivly filtered through my own horrid experience with drugs.
If the doctor says it's anxiety or even depression, and you couldn't figure that out yourself, but HAD to have someone tell you, it's b*llshit.
I vigorously looked for natural excuses as to what was causing my cognitive problems, I looked at depression and anxiety and of course , both contained symptoms that I was suffering from. ( concentration problems , memory problems, slow thinking, etc, etc,) But I didn't feel depressed..in fact I didn't feel much at all.
But you know what apathy, that's a SIGN OF DEPRESSION , EVERYTHING'S a SIGN OF DEPRESSION, or ANXIETY. So if your exhibiting a certain sympton it could be classified under either depression or anxiety even though the depression or anxity may play no role in what your experiencing.
After going on many meds, I finnaly realized I don't feel depressed it's just a conclusion I arrived to,and after seriously looking at myself , I realized I wanted it to be depression or anxiety because it could be reversed, but despite many treatments, nothing really changed.. my mood was fine.. like always.. just the symptons (short term memroy etc, continued and in some instances even worsened) It wasn't the depression or anxiety though it was the meds causing long term problems, meds which I am no longer on which I attribute to
PERMANENT BRAIN DAMAGE
