If we assume that my weight is 75 kg then I should take at least 50mg of Parnate. Now when I am properly sedated I will go to 50mg, kill my residual depression which causes my anxiety (hypothesis) and then get rid of benzo and sulpiride. What do you think?
> /ixusIts funny you wanna get off sulpride,im waiting to get on it.Your dose is fairly low, however you seem really fixed on not using anything along with parnate.Thats great however i dont think you should kill urself over it.If the right thing is added to it u can keep ur parnate at a lower level,as well as having it perform with better success, and getting more from it.
Theres an article that stated the gaba increase brought on by nardil was shown to be REVERSED with the use of parnate. So im curious to know if parnate actualy decreases available gaba which wouldent shock me.But that qoute in the article id imagine would mean something along those lines.
Most people who use parnate add something to it,nuerontion,a benzo, etc.
Ive used it 5 years and never have i felt it truly can be used alone, keeping it at the lower doses kept the med more effective, but there were apsects the med dident hit,as well as over time causing anxiety and maniac type symptoms.
Aside from increments, highing the dose of parnate definatly changes the effect, for me too high made it a very depressing med.
Also parnate for me def has an addiction potential so adding a med to offset that as to not relying on a single med was is also a inviting idea.
Most information, including varios groups, etc always show parnate used with something.
Besides anxiety, and the fact parnate seems to lack a few therputic qualites, there is the day time fatique and insomnia that usualy requires a add on med.
I dunno, personaly i think youd get more success using a augmentor with it,and keeping it around the dose ur having success with.It doesent have to be a benzo other semi-calming meds as u know are out there.Beta blockers for example.
Thats just my opinion regardless, good luck with what you choose to do,keep us posted as im sure most people on Maois relying on other users posts for information,i know i do.Note: Its frustrating cause if i higher parnate to high it looses its effectivness, yet at a effective dose its not hitting all sympotoms and has some side effects, yet no other med works as parnate does for me,if i could find just one med to hit what parnate isnt,id be totaly stable,ah life is never simple!
