In reply to Sleep aides - what are people using?, posted by TamaraJ on June 18, 2005, at 16:04:13

Tamara & All PB,Sleep disturbances used to be a BIG problem for me; trouble getting to sleep and/or waking up in the middle of the night unable to go back to sleep. But these sleep problems have been fixed for more than a year. 300 mg of Trileptal (I'm BP II) at bedtime is a good sleep aid and 750 mg of magnesium at bedtime is an excellent sleep aid. Use a good chelated form of magnesium (e.g.; mg malate, mg citrate, mg glycinate, etc).
-- Ron
BP II and OCPD
600 mg/day Lithobid
900 mg/day Trileptal
50 mg/day Lamictal
5 mg/day Deprenyl (as tx for atypical depression)
