I am certainly not dead against the combination of remeron with other drugs, it worked quite nicely with celexa for me for a while.


I just think caution should be given about the combination. It was asked if interaction exists. Simply put, this is a potential mechanism of interaction.

For some it will be a posative interaction, creating an overall net increase in norepinephrine, but for others, this dramatic noredrenic increase might be cause for for concern.

It is best to note all potential interactions. If the patient had hypertention, then this would be a possability he might be interested in.

I just thought it was worth mentioning since I have heard of a number of people who have had very bad experiences on the combination.

Thats not to say your experience is not also important.
