My neurologist thought so when I described some of the typical symptoms. I tried Lamictal with Effexor for increased antiD activity, but it just made me tired.

I'm worried about ending up severely depressed again. Effexor worked about 17 months ago, so I think I might want to start it again, in case buproprion isn't providing "protection".

If you start, or switch meds when you aren't severely depressed, it can be hard to judge just how well the med is working. That's what happened to me while on Remeron --- I was so-so -- then suddenly got much worse. (I'm one of those who believes that I need to be on an antiD for the rest of my life -- unless there's some medical breakthroughs).
