Hi Phillipa,

It almost always goes away at some point. Some days (rarely) at about 1 or 2. Some days around 4. Some days 8pm. And always by about 11pm. Although it occasionally goes away early and then comes back between 8 and 10 at night and then goes away again. When it leaves, it's often a palpable relief. I feel it turn off and look at the clock and think. Okay, today it went away at 7:48. It's bizarre. I won't be doing anything different. It just *goes.*

But it's always back in the morning. YOu'd think I could just tell myself "well it'll go away after while" and then get on with my life. But when it's on me, I can't believe it will ever go away or get better. I feel hopeless and terrified and afraid it will get worse. It shakes me up just as bad every day.

Right now I can think calmly. The things I can't allow myself to think about during the day don't bother me right now. In fact, right now I don't feel like I'll be scared again. However, I feel like that every night.

Oh well.

Marsha
