increased anxiety on celex means to increase dose?

Posted by 4WD on May 26, 2005, at 16:29:58

At 20mg of Celexa (for a month) I was very anxious. I took it down to 10mg. I felt somewhat better but still very scared/anxious.

I saw my pdoc today and told him I was till scared. He said take the Celexa back up to 20mg. I am afraid to. I was more anxious at 20. And when I took Celexa years ago, I had morning anxiety at 20mg but it was better at 10mg. But the depression is better at 20mg.

So I told him I was more anxious at 20mg Celexa when I tried that before. He said "well, it's just a plan. I don't know if it's going to work." His exact words. He also put me back on inderal (which I had quit because it wasn't working - though I didn't tell him I had quit it. He'd be ticked off). AND decreased my Klonopin. Since the Celexa and inderal are supposed to fix the anxiety/fear.

I am so frustrated. I just want to give up.

On the other hand, the fear went away today at 4pm. No drugs, nothing changed. Just like that, it was gone.
