Hello!

There are many betablockers on the market some with more and some with minor to no sideeffects. I have taken almost all betablockers available.

Some Medical Doctors and even a cardiologist said all betablockers do the same. I was pretty angry. That's not true. Of course a betablocker blocks adrenaline somehow on beta1/2 receptors. But there are big differences relating to antioxdant properties, AV-conduction, combined alpha1-antagonist properties, Membran stabilizing action, Intrinsic symphatomimtic action, changing of fat metabolism, receptor up- and downregulation, pharmacokinetics, big differences in sideeffects, lipophil or watersoluble and so on.

I normally have slight hypotension. I had never a problem with betablockers and I use them not to cure a cardiovascular problem. That's of course a big difference. I would like to give only recommendations for betablockers in mental disorders. There are betablockers with very minor sideffects. You do not have to be always tired if you take the right one.

In pharmacology books is often written: The efficacy of betablockers is not fully understood.

The key is: preventing heart from big rise of adrenaline ths less oxygen requirement in situations of stress or work, lowering bloodpressure, decreasing intima-media thickness, more blood flow to coronar arterias thus more oxygen and "nutrition" for the septum, the atrias and ventricals.

If you feel pain in the left arm, the right or left chest or you feel always tired go to a cardiologist.

regards

sdb
