Hi Phillipa,

That's really weird. I have trouble getting my heart rate up high enough when I exercise normally. After going on the beta blocker, I found that if I took it in the morning and exercised that afternoon, my heart rate went way up. Maybe because the blocker was wearing off and all the unused adrenaline was just hanging around waiting for a receptor to cling on to!
