Ixus, Maybe I'm confused by your post. I was always told I had low blood sugar also. But I've reread your post and am confused by what you mean. I took out my last labs drawn in December. My glucose was 74. The normal range is listed as 65-99mg/dl. Are you saying that your blood glucose remained that low at an hour after eating? In that case you need to test it before meals to see if it is much lower than the normal ranges. My glucose was a nonfasting sample. I really am confused by what you mean. If you are anxious after meals, maybe you are eating something you are allergic to. Please explain as I am a nurse and this would not be considered an abnormal blood sugar even in a diabetic. Insulin wouldn't be held. If the reading were high, a sliding scale of insulin is always provided by the Md and regular insulin would be administered according to how high the blood sugar was. I really am confused. Please respond either here or by Babble. Thanks Phillipa
