I don't think that any drug could possibly have immediate happiness effects without causing a letdown. If anything, it would be a combination drug that has acute effects AND effects that take place over time. Kind of like the xanax/prozac combo for anxiety. Xanax for now, prozac for later. Amineptine is one of those happy drugs because acutely it inhibited the reuptake of dopamine which is sort of like a stimulant actions and then the norepinephrine and serotonin reuptake (?) caused the long term antidepressant effects. I'm also interested in what the spontaneous orgasms were like...
