difference between EffexorXR and Cymbalta?

Lexapro may not be working for me
My psy doc has suggested Effexor or Cymbalta
Do Effexor and Cymbalta affect the reuptake of serotonin and norepinephrine the same, or is one stronger in blocking the reuptake of one neurotransmitter than the other?
My doc also suggested Remeron
I have GAD, panic, OCD (obsessional), and depression
