As a fellow Fibromyalgia comrade, your post rang a bell. Freak-a-zoid palpitations can scare the best of us, I know. I lived through a series of tests and three days on a Holter monitor, waiting to figure out what was wrong with my blood pump a few years ago.
My research (and my own personal experience) seems to show that many Fibromyalgia comrades have also been diagnosed with Mitral Valve Prolapse, which can cause the precise symptoms you describe.
How's your magnesium intake, for a start? Can't hurt...might help. Also, from what I read, it's definitely a good move for the mood swings and the tinnitus as well.
