Is it possible that the plasma levels during longterm use elevate and then I could only take 1mg per day and not a splitted dosage of 2mg as I did when I took it only occasionally?

For a constant effect, split dosing (AM and PM) has always worked best for me. If you want to use clonazepam long term, the worst thing you can do is take a single dose only at night.

I currently take 0.25 mg morning and night.
