Hello there, I've written to you before, and I have to say that our responses to Lexapro are all too similar. It was not until on Lexapro that I started having suicidal thoughts exactly like you -- I ccall them "impulsive suicidal thoughts" -- they just pop up sometimes, and I'm afraid I will one day act on them. You might be having a 'mixed episode' - manic with depression mixed together, creating a very agitated state. Look into it or ask your doctor about it. In any case, be sure you tell your doctor eerything you can about how you are feeling. My therapist told me something that helped me with those suicidal feelings (I also have young children that need me, and I am afraid of those feelings). THey are comforting to me, a comfort when I am feeling overwhelmed. If I look at them symbolically that way, I understand them better and can get some distance from them. They don't actually mean that I will kill myself, just that I am overwhelmed for the moment and need some comfort, and those feelings and thoughts will pass. ~~Autumn~~
