I forgot. If you are new to desipramine, some of these things might be side effects. If this is the case, it would be a good idea to see if they begin to resolve on their own. My heart rate is higher for the entire time I am on a tricyclic. It is not at all harmful. See if these other fight-or-flight things pass. If not, go ahead and ask your doctor about the propranalol.
