Hi Everyone- It's been a long time since I've posted to this board because i was doing fairly well. But I'm having sleep problems big time! I always slept like a baby until my mom died about a year and a half ago. I'm on 60 mg Celexa (20 in the am, 40 in the PM), Wellbutrin 150 mg, Klonopin 3 mg 3 times a day and I've tried Neurontin (too sedating and upset my stomach) and trazodone. Traz at 75 mg worked like a charm but made me sick as a dog (I dropped to 50 and still felt sick). So now I'm down to 25 mg and my p-doc suggested that I drop the traz and try taking 1 klonopin in the am and 2 at night.
Last night I took 25 mg of traz and 1 mg of klonopin at bedtime and then another mg of klonopin at 4:30 when i woke up (I am sleeping about 5 hours per night- need 8-9 hours) and here I am, wide awake.
I'm at my wit's end. This has been going on for a long time but I'm in a Phd program and I just had a fairly serious ski accident so my body needs SLEEP! Does anyone have anything that works for them? i also started taking fish oil again this week. I can't take anything more serotonin related. It gives me horrible flu-like symptoms. HELP! And thanks in advance.
